Social Media Withdrawal Clinic
Nowadays, our mobile phones are with us every minute of the day. We are constantly reachable and connected to hundreds of people via social media. It is clear that this is not without consequences, but during my research, the extent of our consumption became even clearer to me.The Social Media Withdrawal Clinic is an interactive exhibition concept that puts visitors in the role of patients in a fictitious withdrawal clinic. I want to create a new awareness and make it clear that social media has long since become an everyday drug, and confront visitors with their own consumption and its effects on mental health and society. It is anything but easy to reflect on your own behavior and, above all, to change it, but that is exactly where I start with the exhibition concept.
