Coming of Age
Between uncertainty, change, and hope, »Coming of Age« shows the process of aging from different perspectives.Around me, I have repeatedly realized that for many people, getting older is associated with insecurity or fear — an experience that I have never had myself. I wondered, where does this fear come from? Why is something so natural often suppressed and portrayed negatively?Dealing with this topic was as open and personal as I had hoped, and many people shared their thoughts, worries, and experiences with me.This in particular makes me glad to present this project - with the hope that it will inspire others to reflect and perhaps even help them to face aging with a little more ease.I would be grateful if people took the time to engage with the topic and let the different perspectives sink in.
