What happens to us when we eat? When taste is experienced not only on the tongue but throughout the body and mind. My documentary film deals with the perception of taste that goes beyond the mouthfeel, focusing on people who experience food in very different ways - shaped by personal stories, sensual imagination, and individual experience. Experimental video sequences visually expand the narrative - as a translation of inner sensations into image and rhythm. The film explores the diversity and intensity of sensory perception and is aimed at all those who understand nutrition as a holistic, sensual experience.
