It is particularly important to me to create something experimental and unique in terms of content and visuals. I try to think of every new project in the most unusual way possible. For me, this is the only way to create something really great.

Picture book project about quiet departures

»When my grandma left my grandpa,
he grabbed the chainsaw
and took out his frustration on our garden
So I grew up in emptinesa
and I kinda still feel it today«

My picture book is about the fate called family. The fate that we all have to accept somehow. It's about emancipation and connection. About reveling in the past and the wish for a new beginning. It's about building an inner garden, a landscape - first for yourself and no one else - and about the responsibility you have for others. But mostly about one thing: trusting that everything will somehow work out.
