For me, design is a way to create meaning beyond aesthetics. My journey took me from object to concept, from form to a value-oriented design approach. Design gives me the space to make responsibility visible.

Kill Your Darlings
What to do when our favorites become problematic?
Our project emerged from the observation that role models profoundly shape the way we think, feel, and act – often unconsciously. With »Kill Your Darlings«, we seek to spark a shift in perspective: away from bare admiration and towards a more reflective examination of the concept of role models. Over the course of the project, it became even more apparent to us how parasocial relationships and idolization reinforce existing societal power structures. Our work is not a call for »cancelling«, but an invitation to collective growth through critical thinking. The project works as a book designed to be broken down into individual modules, transforming it into a mobile exhibition. This creates an »exhibition to go« that can appear spontaneously, independently of location, and with low barriers to access. In doing so, we aim to reach a broader audience and bring the conversation to where it is often missing: public spaces, educational institutions, and other places of encounter.
