Care Club
We show you care
There’s a shortage of care workers in Germany. One possible solution? Inspiring more young people to choose a career in care. However, the image of the profession suffers: stress, shift work, emotional strain. Care Club — we show you care offers a fresh perspective. Developed in collaboration with my co-designer, a geriatric nurse, a platform was created that connects school classes across Germany with real care professionals to bring the profession closer to students. At the core is a film that presents care from the caregivers’ perspective: challenges, special moments, everyday insights, and information about entry opportunities. Interactive questions in the film invite students to engage. The screening is accompanied by a care professional from the Care Club platform who moderates the questions and is available for personal exchange. Whether during career information days or project days, the film supports caregivers in presenting their profession in an engaging and relatable way.
