I originally had very different plans — like studying Japanese studies. Which I did. Somewhere between kanji and calligraphy, design started to itch — and didn’t stop. Since then, I’d rather create than translate.

BentoBar
A Snack Bar That Bites Back
»BentoBar« is my attempt to bring together Japanese Studies and Design — because having a clear career plan was never really my thing. What started as a simple idea turned out to be far more complex than expected. BentoBar isn’t a deep social commentary — it’s a vegan brand that tastes good, has a clean conscience, and happens to be the first snack bar that might insult you a little. Because not everything edible needs to be a life philosophy. The target group? People who are hungry and curious enough to try something new. My favorite (and most infuriating) part: the 3D model — a true love-hate relationship I invested way too much time in. The design stands for clear messages with character — direct, but not loud. BentoBar isn’t trying to save the world. It’s just trying to taste good and maybe leave you thinking… or at least smirking.
