I create narratively, with a love of detail and a feel for emotional nuances. I am at my strongest when I am allowed to create atmospheric worlds - with the intention of also making the quiet visible.

Malstrom
3D Short Movie
I developed the short film »Malstrom« to make inner processes visible without explaining them. Malstrom is a surreal 3D animation about an artist caught between empathy, self-loss, control and chaos. Her inner world is populated by sculptures, images of her clients and a figure of herself, which look like unfinished works of art and reflect her inner state. A central source of inspiration was the PC game »Life is Strange« with its atmospheric density. Aesthetically, the film is based on stop-motion productions such as »Coraline« and the visual language of Salvador Dalí. As the project progressed, my focus shifted more from the plot to the cinematic atmosphere. Light, texture and movement convey the emotions of the characters and bring the world to life. With Malstrom, I want to touch people with my visual language, in the cinema, at festivals, wherever art is understood as a mirror of our emotions.
