I enjoy designing digital UX solutions that really help users in their everyday lives. Developed aesthetically, functionally, and in line with needs — with the aim of simplifying complex processes for every individual target group.

Sense
A digital aid for autistic people experiencing overstimulation
Sense is an app designed to support autistic people in everyday life, both before and after diagnosis. It offers practical assistance in situations of sensory overload and encourages reflection on triggering stimuli in the form of a digital stimulus diary. My personal environment has brought me closer to the topic of autism. The wait for a diagnosis can take several years, during which time those affected are often left to their own devices, as many forms of support are only available once an official diagnosis has been made. Sense aims to bridge this gap, making everyday situations easier by providing support during overloads, meltdowns, and shutdowns - natural protective reactions to sensory overload or (emotional) pressure. Over 833,000 autistic people live in Germany, who often have to adapt to a society that is geared towards neurotypical needs. My project also aims to raise awareness of this issue and dispel stereotypes.
