What inspires me about design is the diversity of processes. I enjoy working with exciting people and developing concepts with them. It is particularly important to me to find a form that is both aesthetic and authentic.
Together for urban Change
For my bachelor's project, I worked with the voluntary organization »Gemeinsam für Stadtwandel« (Together for Urban Change) — a network in Essen that is committed to climate-friendly and sustainable urban development. The climate crisis is both acute and endless. The network faces the communicative challenge of reducing the gap in society between knowledge and action, emphasizing the feeling of self-efficacy in engagement, and making success stories visible. Climate protection is not just an abstract political debate, for “Gemeinsam für Stadtwandel” it is also something everyday and personal — initiating a transformation in one's domain. With my design of the visual appearance, I strengthen identification with the network, make its values visible, and invite people to join in.
