My best ideas are born analog. Thanks to my time as a bookbinding tutor, the material and tactile feel of my book projects are very important to me. Another important thing to know about me: Whenever possible, I combine drawing with other art forms.

Many Stories
Gespräche über Migration
With my book, I want to show that every migration story is different and that it is therefore important to listen to these stories, because they affect us all. For me, engaging with the topic is also a personal process of reflection. Ideally, I can encourage this process in readers as well. I also hope that as many people as possible who have had similar experiences to those interviewed can identify with their stories. My goal was to create a book that people enjoy picking up and in which they can continually discover new details in both the text and the images. Collage combined with drawing were my chosen techniques to visually create this diversity. Just as the experiences of the interviewees are multifaceted, complex, and not always clear-cut, so too are my illustrations.
