I am an illustrator with a focus on visual storytelling in children's books. Storytelling is my passion – with joy and imagination, I create characters and narratives that bring a smile to the faces of children (and adults alike).

Mimis Idee
What if an idea grew inside you, took shape – and then suddenly popped right out of your ear?In my silent book »Mimi’s Idea«, I share my personal experience with creative processes and the development of an idea – entirely without words. At the heart of the story is the protagonist Mimi and her small idea, which materializes and gradually transforms. The book explores how environment and creativity influence one another – and how a freely evolving idea can go on to inspire the world. The visual world of »Mimi’s Idea« was created using a blend of analog and digital techniques. The basic elements were made by hand and then digitally refined. In this way, the book combines handmade textures with the creative freedom of digital tools – a fusion that mirrors the creative process itself: balancing intuition and deliberate design, control and openness to the unexpected.
